Washington Slagbaai Nat. Park

Located in the Northern end of Bonaire and managed by Stinapa Bonaire , this ecological reserve is a “must see” when you are on Bonaire . Covering almost one-fifth of the island you can find exotic birds, donkeys goats and of course iguanas . Maybe climb the Branders, the highest hill on Bonaire or find yourself on one of the beautiful snorkel or dive spots…

Mangrove Info Center

The Mangrove forests at Lac Bay are unique in the Caribbean and the best way to explore them  is a guided eco-friendly kayak and snorkel tour organised by the Mangrove center. A solar boat is also available for tours. All tours are guided to ensure your safety and to safeguard the bay. Please check their website in order make a reservation in advance as otherwise  they might be fully booked.

Magazine di Rei

After working the whole week in the salt flats, the government slaves would walk about 9 to 10 hours to the storehouse Mangazina di Rei to get their provisions.Now the Mangazina di Rei is part of a cultural park & learning centre with the purpose to arouse interest for the Bonaire culture, Bonaire history,  landscape and nature of the area around the village of Rincon.Cultural market every last Saturday of the month .www.mangazinadirei.org
